Full Text Search

The following section provides important information regarding full text searches on a Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) or Oracle database. Full text search on an MSSQL or Oracle database are installed in a different manner and behave differently. Additionally, each database has a unique set of words that cannot be searched. However, conducting a full text search within a SmartSolve application is performed in the same manner, regardless of the database.

• Full text search for MSSQL is automatically installed as a scheduled job when SmartSolve© is installed.
• Full text search for Oracle must be installed manually after SmartSolve© is installed. Please see your Pilgrim representative for more information.
